Richmond, Virginia......

 

The 30th Annual “Capital of The Confederacy Civil War Show” will Return to The Richmond Raceway Complex on Saturday  and  Sunday  November 20 & 21, 2010.  (See map above).

 

The Central Virginia Civil War Collectors Association is pleased to announce that we will again be teaming with Mike Kent & Associates, LLC for the promotion and management of this year’s show.  Mike currently promotes and manages approximately twenty Civil War and gun shows, including the very successful Nashville and Dalton shows.  We are looking forward to our continuing association with Mike, and anticipate another fine show in November.

 

Over 400 Exhibitors, many of national reputation, will present thousands of original artifacts and antiques for sale including….. Uniforms, weapons, accoutrements, personal items of the soldier and civilian, excavated artifacts, images, books, and artThis exciting event will feature informative and educational displays by advanced collectors and prestigious museums.  Visitors will have a unique opportunity to explore and ask questions about Civil War history and artifacts of the period.

 

The Museum of The Confederacy, Richmond National Battlefield Park, and other nationally recognized museums are expected to exhibit selected items from their prestigious collections, thereby giving visitors an opportunity to closely examine some truly fine historical artifacts!

 

This event is presented by Mike Kent and the Central Virginia Civil War Collectors Association, and is one of the premier Civil War events in the country. Hours are Saturday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.  Admission is $8 for adults and children under 12 are free (with adult supervision).
